What can you do when you are too serious for this life? Turn to comedy!

An introverted showman with an adventurous spirit, Daniel tried a series of jobs in his twenties around Europe, the US and the UK before settling in the creative waters of live music events and theatre.

This Prague native, whose Nordic looks belie his Balkans temperament, is a bit of a contradiction as his low-key personality periodically gives way to unpredictable and unexpected bursts of high energy. Some of his earliest memories include travelling to giant stunt car shows around Eastern Europe produced and directed by his father and he suspects this is where his live show bug had taken root.

Most of his spoken English comes from the American West, was later polished by professional dealing with Brits, but he believes the Irish make the best story tellers, if you can understand them. He is fiercely independent and naturally suspicious of authority, social networks and covert advertising; one, because he studied it and two; because is a rebellious 90s kid at heart.

Favorite comedy subjects include travel, cultural stereotypes, hypocrisy, superficiality and rice pudding. Imitations are a must, he prefers the word comic, tends to adopt the realist approach and believes the best decades for comedy were the 70s and 90s.

In his free time Daniel likes to swim, skate on large wheels, ski (weather, cash and viruses permitting) and watch nature documentaries, especially those about dolphins and orcas. He bemuses himself with conspiracy theories, UFO sightings and the occasional boxing interview packed with funny clichés. By the way, did you realise that boxing is a lot like chess?

He gave up the strife for a better world when he turned 30 but remains sympathetic to the plight of hedgehogs while crossing busy roads and carries them across whenever the opportunity arises.
